Education Field Trips...souvenirs from the field

Where you sit in the classroom makes all the difference!

Looking for a unique field trip opportunity that provides the added benefit of getting your students lost for a while? We've got the answer.

With a goal to provide a fun and educational activity for the community, we'll expose students to "agriculture in the process" in a way they'll never forget. The Farm offers students the opportunity to become acquainted with agriculture and to experience a unique brand of good farmin' fun.

Once on site, your students will receive a brief introduction to the Farm and maze, how it was made, and the agricultural principles behind it.

Field trips run on Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and last anywhere from 2 - 3 hours. All trips to P_Bar Farms include the following:

  • Agri-education
  • Lunch on the farm (Bring sack lunches, or concessions are available...pop, candy, and chips)
  • Hay ride showing all crops grown at the farm
  • General education about agriculture detailing crops grown at the Farm
  • Finally, each child will leave with a souvenir from the field

We also offer a hotdog deal for $2.50 that includes a hotdog, chips, and a drink.

In an effort to assist school districts in continuing to offer out-of-class educational experiences to students, the Bank of Western Oklahoma and P_Bar Farms have teamed up to offer the Fuel Rebate Program to public and private schools that schedule field trips.

P_Bar Farms will refund schools $ .50 per student who visit the farm on a field trip.

School districts returning the Fuel Rebate Form will receive refunds in December. Schools will receive the fuel rebate form during their visit.
